With every professional business there is a serious side. Thank you for taking the time to read, understand and appreciate how we can bring you the best customer service. Please help us maintain this good service by providing us with the following courtesy. We understand that circumstances arise, which don’t allow you to keep your appointment, but please remember to be courteous to us, and our other clients by calling 24 – 48hrs prior to your appointment to cancel if you cannot make it. (Appointments of 1hr or more require 48hrs notice) When you book an appointment with Urban Tan Lash and Beauty, that appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Cancellations within the time stipulated in our cancellation policy will allow us to allocate this space to another client without it affecting our ability to operate. Late cancellations and no-shows are a costly burden to business, take appointments away from our other clients, and increase costs that we do not wish to have to pass on to our loyal clients. You can cancel or re-schedule your appointment by calling the salon, (leave a voicemail if the therapists are with clients), send an e-mail to hello@urbantan.com.au or access your appointment online or through your “Fresha” App

Booking Appointments

Urban Tan Lash and Beauty accept bookings via the following methods:

  • Fresha App. You can download this App from the App Store, create your own Fresha account to make and manage your own bookings.
  • Online booking requests via Salon Pay, Instagram, Facebook, Website and Google (click the book now button)
  • Phone your booking request to 07 5326 2547
  • Email your booking request to hello@urbantan.com.au
  • Credit / Debit Card details are required to secure your booking. No payment will be debited from this card until your scheduled appointment, or if a fee under our Cancellation Policy is required.

A courtesy appointment confirmation text / email is sent out at the time of the booking to confirm your service. Your booking will not be secured until Urban Tan Lash and Beauty have received the returned booking confirmation from you. The returned booking confirmation secures your appointment. Failure to confirm your appointment may result in your appointment being cancelled by Urban Tan Lash and Beauty. You will also receive a second courtesy 24hr reminder before your appointment. In the event that you cannot be reached, Urban Tan Lash and Beauty have reserved the right to enforce our cancellation policy or cancel your appointment. Any cancellations or changes to the reservation must be communicated with more than 24hrs notice. No shows, late cancellations or late changes to your appointment with less than 24hrs notice will result in a fee charged equal to a percentage of the booked service. Do I pay a booking fee?

When you make a booking, you will be required to supply payment card details. We process cards through a secure booking platform “Fresha” utilized by the beauty industry worldwide.

Policy: Booking Fee and Appointment Terms

At Urban Tan Lash & Beauty, we are committed to providing you with exceptional beauty services and maintaining a fair and efficient appointment system. To ensure the best experience for both our clients and our salon, we have established the following Booking Fee and Appointment Terms:

1. Booking Fee Requirement:
Customers are required to pay a Booking Fee amounting to 50% of the total service cost at the time of booking an appointment. This fee is essential to secure your appointment slot and allocate necessary resources for your service.

2. Booking Fee Forfeiture:
Booking fees are non-refundable. If you decide to cancel or reschedule your appointment, the Booking Fee will be forfeited, except in extreme circumstances beyond your reasonable control, such as natural disasters or medical emergencies.

3. Rescheduled Appointments:
The Booking Fee will not be applied to a rescheduled appointment. A new Booking Fee will be required to secure the rescheduled appointment.

4. Agreement to Policy Terms:
By booking your appointment and paying the Booking Fee, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

5. Additional Information:
– Cancellations, re-schedules, and no-shows within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a fee in line with our Cancellation and No Show Policy.
– A reminder text will be sent 24 hours before your appointment; please use this time to make any necessary changes.
– Late cancellations, late re-schedules, and no-shows will result in the forfeiture of your Booking Fee.
– In cases of multiple no-shows, a full payment of the booked service will be required to secure future appointments.
– We understand that accidents, illnesses, and emergencies can happen. We aim to accommodate these rare occasions with understanding, and such instances are recorded to prevent abuse of the policy.

This policy enables us to provide high-quality services to all our valued clients while maintaining fairness and efficiency in our appointment system. What if I need to reschedule?

You can reschedule an appointment up to 24hrs prior to your appointment time with no fee payable. Changes made inside of 24hrs notice will incur a fee in line with our cancellation policy. Full details can be found under the Cancellation Policy heading at the bottom of this page.

Arrival

Please arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment. If you are running late for the appointment, please be aware that we may need to shorten your appointment time, or cancel your appointment all together, as we may have clients booked in after you. If we need to cancel your appointment due to not enough time allowed to complete your service with the high standard we provide, the 50% no-show fee will be deducted from your cash deposit / card held on file, in line with our Cancellation Policy.

Sickness
We know how much you look forward to having your beauty treatments. If you are sick, please give 24hrs notice if possible. Standard late cancellation fees will still apply for short notice cancellation or re-scheduling of your appointment. Please remember you are entering a confined workspace, so for the health & safety of the staff and other clients, please do not come to your appointment if you are unwell.

It will be at the discretion of Urban Tan Lash Beauty staff to refuse service. Not only can sickness spread, but it also affects the quality of the service provided and your own comfort. Clients that are turned away will be charged 50% of the service fee in line with our Cancellation Policy.

Children

We understand children are important and sometimes circumstances make it hard not to be able to bring your children to your appointment. However, for the safety of your children, yourself and the therapist as well as the comfort of everyone, we ask that you please do not bring children with you to your appointment. It is an OH&S recommendation that children are NOT allowed in the treatment rooms. If it is essential that you bring your child to the appointment, please be aware that they will be required to remain in reception while you are having your treatment.

Pre-Appointment & Gift Vouchers T&C’s Policy

Pre – Appointment Policy:

Eye makeup must be removed prior to having a lash/brow treatment. An extra charge of $10 will be added to your appointment cost due to the time required to remove makeup from the lashes.

Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

 
      1.    Deposit Requirement: When booking with a gift voucher, 50% of the service cost is required as a deposit.
      2.    Automatic Deduction: 50% of the deposit will be automatically deducted from the gift voucher balance upon booking to secure your appointment.
      3.    Late Cancellations: Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time will result in the forfeiture of 50% of the gift voucher value used as the deposit.
      4.    Alternative Deposit: If unable to pay the deposit via card, your gift voucher will be used to cover the 50% deposit.
 
Please adhere to these terms when booking and using our gift vouchers. Rescheduled appointments within 24 hours of your appointment time will be treated as Late Cancellations.
 
Cancellation Policy
  •  Here at Urban Tan Lash and Beauty we have a moderate cancellation policy.
  •  NO FEE – if cancelled or re-scheduled with a minimum 24hrs notice before your scheduled appointment.
  •  A Late cancellation fee of 30% of the service value will be charged if you cancel within 24hrs of your appointment time.
  •  A Late re-schedule fee of 30% of the service value will be charged if you re-schedule within 24hrs of your appointment time. Late re-schedules are considered a cancellation of your existing booking.
  •  A No-show fee of 50% of the service value will be charged if you do not show on time for your appointment.
  • Cancellation and re-schedule fees charged are non-refundable or transferable.
No Refund Policy

We at Urban Tan, Lash & Beauty strive to provide the highest quality beauty services to our clients. Our team of skilled professionals is dedicated to ensuring that every client leaves our premises feeling satisfied and happy with their experience.

As part of our commitment to providing the best possible service, we have a strict no refund policy for all beauty services. This policy is in place due to the cost of materials and time involved in providing our services, as well as the limited availability of appointment slots.

We understand that there may be instances where you may not be completely satisfied with the outcome of your service. In such cases, we encourage you to let us know immediately so that we can do our best to address any concerns and ensure that you are happy with the final result.

Please note that refunds will not be given for any beauty services that have already been provided, regardless of the reason. If you are unhappy with the outcome of a service, we will do our best to make any necessary adjustments that you are satisfied with. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our no refund policy, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We ask that you appreciate and understand these terms & conditions. Time is important, not only to the therapists who are here to provide you with your beauty needs but your time as well. If you are not able to keep your scheduled appointment, letting us know with plenty of time will enable your appointment to be filled. You never know, it could be you that could fill a spot ….
